Assoc Prof Theeraporn Verathaworn on Wednesday gave 15,000 baht of his own money as a cash reward to conductress Sumon Mahidun, and 5,000 baht to Punnawit Chalongnatesodsai, the driver of air-conditioned bus No.511, as an encouragement for their honesty. He had withdrawn the cash from banks in Chon Buri, intending to deposit it at a bank near his new workplace.
